Cole Sartin is from Orange, Texas. Cole graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas in 2003. After graduating from Lamar University, Cole moved to Austin for several years before going to Houston, Texas for law school.
Cole attended South Texas College of Law Houston where he graduated cum laude with a law degree in 2012. While attending South Texas College of Law – Houston, Cole was an advocate in the advocacy program. Cole won several awards as an advocate at South Texas College of Law Houston, which was recently named “Best of This Decade” for moot court by preLaw Magazine. In 2012, Cole was inducted into the National Order of Scribes. Cole was selected as a member of Order of Lytae, an honorary fraternity that recognizes outstanding academic achievement that same year. Cole has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2012.
Following law school, Cole moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, where he was a judicial law clerk at the First Judicial District Court for the Honorable Jeanette Garrett, who was later a judge for the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal, and the Honorable Scott Crichton, who was later a justice for the Louisiana Supreme Court. In 2013, Cole became licensed in Louisiana and began practicing at a plaintiff’s personal injury litigation firm. Cole left the firm at the end of 2016 and began the Sartin Law Firm in 2017. Cole has obtained millions of dollars for his clients through verdicts and settlements. Cole exclusively does plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. Cole is admitted and licensed to practice in all state courts in Louisiana and Texas as well as the United States District Court, Western District of Louisiana and the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas.
